GRADUATION CELEBRATION
The vision is to gather as a class community of families along with the class' most beloved teachers to honor, celebrate and mark our collective journey for the last time. Taking notes from past “graduation celebrations”, we thought it ideal to have down-time immediately following the graduation ceremony - a time to visit with extended family and recover from what will surely be an outpouring of emotions - and then regroup for a family dinner (student + 3 close family members). This “class family” time would include a potluck dinner and a look back at highlights over the years via a slide-show of photos shared by each of us, to provide some closure. Then, families would leave our girls to one last night of shared time together. Although a class sleepover was discussed, having the girls figure out their own sleeping plans at the end of the night seemed to make more sense given the contsraints of the location.

Please upload 10 photos of your child to add to a slide-show presentation that will be shared at the event. Pictures should be of your child through the years (early childhood to now, and preferably with other HWS classmates. They do not have to have been at HWS). Please note, the deadline to upload your photos is May 17th.

We look forward to sharing a final celebratory meal together. To pull off a delicious dinner for the entire Senior Class and their immediate families ( 68+ people!), we need every family to please contribute. There are 26 sign-up slots available and only 17 families, so we will need several people to sign up for more than one category if they are able to. Mahalo in advance to those who can! When you sign up, please list what dish you are bringing so we don't have repeats. Thanks so much for your participation, and it's going to be a fun and festive evening celebrating our fabulous Class of 2025!!

Please contribute what you can to the fund to cover the various expenses related to senior year festivities: (food for after the Senior Play; tips for servers at the Senior Formal; Printed Banner of the class of 2025; Expenses for Porta-a-Poty for graduation party). Various members of our planning group have fronted these monies and it would be great if we could reimburse them all. The cost per family is $54. If you aren’t able to cover that amount, we understand and ask that you please pay whatever you feel comfortable with contributing. If other folks feel like they can round it up a few dollars and pay it forward, we welcome that, and feel confident that in this way it will all work out. Please submit your contribution no later than May 23rd.

:Note about parking. One car per family, each family arrange for safe pick-up as there will be alcohol on site.

8:30-9:00: Clean-up, good byes, parents leave except late-night chaperones
9:00-10:00: Dancing and Swimming
10:00-10:30: Pack-up, final farewells and Home!
